As many of you know, Fantasia has been getting the blues from her ex-boyfriend's wife, Paula Cook, who claims that Fantasia knowingly pursued her husband while they were still together. Well, Fantasia has continuously DENIED the rumors, claiming that Antwaun was separated from him wife and living in a completely separate home at the time of their affair, but that did NOT stop his wife from suing Tasia claiming "Alienation of Affection".
While the trial was going on, there was yet ANOTHER shocker that came to light. Not only did Fantasia & Antwaun have an affair, but Tasia got pregnant & admitted [during court] that she aborted the unborn child of her ex-lover, Antwaun Cook, who was married around August the same time during her alleged suicide attempt, as reported.
Recently, there has been a HUGE win for Fantasia. A North Carolina judge has ruled that she did NOT commit alienation of affection, since at the time she met up with Antwaun Cook., even though he was technically married, he was legally separated.
The court has found that Paula and Antwaun Cook, were LEGALLY separated in September of 2009, not June of 2010 (as his wife has been proclaiming) ultimately forcing the judge to rule in Antwaun’s favor.
So unless the girlfriend appeals and wins on a technicality, Fantasia can rest easy that she won’t have to pay every dime she ever made to the ex-wife as a settlement. There can be no alienation of affection, in other words, if there was no legal marriage that was in tact.
Looks like Tasia can have a MERRY Xmas & A Happy New Year & Keep her dough in her pockets!
